The Champ's Story (Chapter 30)

Hello America,

How are you?  I apologize that I have been quiet....

Sometimes, it is time to be.

I thought about the Rays winning the series over the Rangers, thought about the Cowboys and thought about Peyton.

Now this morning, all of the ads say Obama got a bounce in the polls and in fundraising.......

I can  understand with the fundraising, after Biden getting biker lap dances and the forced and tired speeches from Obama and Biden, obviously the cash cows on the dems side, figured some campaign ads might help.

The bump is expected........

I thought about sometimes how you have to go through some losses.......some slumps b/c that is just the course of it.

Now right now, not writing no songs... I will in October, not this month b/c I am working on my thesis and trying to get that into my routine... And frankly, I am just not feeling.

Ann Coulter really gave me a boost which means I have to be more particular about what I tweet because these Obama surrogates are killing me........

So let's just use these sports team for analogies and we'll get on today.  For those who read me all the time, we all know that I am a mercurial writer and subject to change at any moment.....

When I looked at the Rangers.......with the Rays, yeah it was some great pitching, but it was tired arms and legs...  Nobody has played more games than the Rangers in the past two years because nobody has been to the world series twice but the Rangers in the last two years......

It's hard maintaining number one...... It's not easy.  Everyone that gets a series victory over you is empowered and the media is determined to make you feel defeated....

That's just the game, that's just the way it is.

But Rangers along with Romney, I want you to learn something from the Cowboys and the Broncos win.

From the Cowboys, it wasn't a convincing win because I didn't see the Giants of last year, but the old typical woest me Manning of previous years.....

Nevertheless, I think the play of Brandon Carr and Demarcus Murray give us something to take from...

DeMarcus Murray, a Sooner, in which I am obligated to say Boomer!!!!!!!, I am a Sooner myself.

Had a great run, it wasn't the yardage although I want to say it was his biggest run, it was the patience of the run, and the reaction of the offense because of it.

He went left, he went middle, nothing there... but instead of trying to ram his way in........ he bounced back literally and hit a corner......... as soon as he did, Dez Bryant who I will I not relent needs to be charged, and Jason Witten, hit two key blocks to allow him to hit the right corner which allowed him to hit pay dirt.

My point is Rangers and Romney, DeMarcus didn't change his game because of adversity, he waited until he got an opening.........and his teammates played like he did patiently.....

There is no need to panic Rangers, #1 is still #1 .......

Romney, you are still ahead, no need to panic.

The second lesson is from Brandon Carr..........  I didn't think he was that big of a signing but he is starting to impress me.......  He started the game with the mantra that it "wasn't going to be no dancing" by the Giants receivers......

He is a man that kept his word.

But the thing that I think Rangers and Romney that we need to learn from him, he may not have had any interceptions, but every play he was involved in even when the ball wasn't thrown his way...... He made a difference... He broke up routes, He broke up catches, he never lost his man...... and because of that the defensive line was able to focus on getting to the QB, the linebackers could focus on making hits and causing fumbles.

He wasn't the star b/c of stats.......

He is the star b/c of consistency........

So right now, we have two lessons, playing patiently........ and playing consistently.

One more from the Broncos game last night,

Peyton's arm is not the same as it used to be, balls lifting a tad as the game went on.....

But the man who saved the game, wasn't Peyton, it was Proctor..... although he won't see his name on any headlines today.

My point is wasn't Peyton's arm that brought belief to the Broncos team, it was his presence......  And when his defensive team mates saw that this man still can run an offense on the field, it gave them the motivation....... to say like my frat brother did back in the day, Darius Johnson......

I am a Bronco,  and this is my house...... and in my house, we will not be defeated.......

It gave the receivers and the running backs to say Peyton, we don't need perfection, where you fall short, we got you brother........

We just needed your presence.

Patience, Consistency and Presence........

Rangers and Romney.

Rangers, you can't worry about other teams and what they got and facing them down the road, b/c you gotta get down the road to face them again.  You keep being patient even when the umpire's strike zone changes when you come to bat, you be patient in your pitches, you be consistent as positive with your teammates...........and start to let your presence show a little more......

start to get a little irritated and aggravated, start to show others why you have been the AL champs.

ain't b/c of one stat, but because of one team..........

where the youngest from Profar, I saw you love ;) , can get his antler on, to Young....

Romney,

you have been portrayed as a liar and frankly, you not helping the situation b/c you panic and change every other five minutes......

Remember the lessons of Demarcus, patient running.........  you have a team of linemen, and Bryants and Wittens that are going to block for you........ but it starts with you NOT PANICKING which means tell Ed Gillpse to shut the hell up sometimes......

Remember the lessons of Brandon, he didn't promise no victory, he simply promised that as long as he was on the field, he was going to do his job.   And he did.  Every play.......  Your job as a nominee is to stay on your message.......... that means, TELL YOUR CAMPAIGN ADVISORS WHO WHO ADVISE BY POLLS TO SHUT THE HELL UP.  Folk like me on the battle field and its already polling a bad direction....... Don't dog Ryan or his votes, he's the reason you still in this .....

Remember the lessons of the Broncos, we just need your Presence Romney, not perfection.  For this is about Obama and the destruction of this country.  that means tell your CAMPAIGN ADVISORS TO STOP WORRYING ABOUT TALKING THE POINTS THEY THINK WE WILL WORK, AND HIT UP MY TL AND OTHERS........... We are the talking points....

We just need your presence..........let us do the work.

Your arm ain't the same Romney, but you failing to realize we don't need it to be.......

That's all.

I'll be back soon.  :)
