The Change (Chapter 5)

Hello America,

The grand bargin begins today...

But it is not a bargain to make a deal ...

It is a bargain to save more pressing things like the "distinguished careers"of Senator John McCain, or political capital of Senator Lindsey Graham and Speaker John Boehner.

As soon as I announced that I was running for President... I didn't get mocked or laughed at, what I did get is hundreds of responses from people on both sides, folks who don't agree with me saying, I wanna work, let's get started, I don't care about party, what do we have to do, your voice is needed.

And I didn't take it too seriously because those on the outside do not know the rigor, the demand, the ruthlessness that involves a campaign... Didn't think I would end more than a blip and I needed to pray and consult with God to see if this is even worth it.

I wasn't always who I am today, and nothing but the Grace of God made that a reality...

I got up yesterday, and I want to go to church, but I'm still having some health issues, can't afford medical insurance to find out and no I'm not getting Obamacare...

I don't want to hear sermons about Obama and the struggle he's going through b/c that is one negro that ain't struggling but the communities he says he represents are ... increasingly everyday.

In the two weeks since his re election American citizens have gotten nothing, but Asia has gotten a billion dollars...

I can't say I care any more because for those who voted for him b/c he was pro choice, he wasn't old and white or whatever reasons....  you all are getting exactly what you voted for and deserve.

I know from experience the only way one will learn when facts and figures apparently won't work, is when the man or woman who says they will screw over everyone else for you finally screws you...

So I prayed to God and asked him for the sermon relayed through my dad without the political banter... It's not about Obama losing, I don't want to hear that at church.  I understand that political leaders fancy themselves as political outlets and I understand 40 years ago where the lack of information and places for that were a source of dearth for the black community, but that is no longer the case....

When I step in the house of God, I only want to hear about the acts and words of God, not of man...

So my father tells me that the Pastor Eddie L. Jenkins of Good Street Baptist Church...

Speaks from Matthew...... the 8th chapter... the 23rd verse...

And today, I will only take 4 verses

23 And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.
24 And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.
25 And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

I thought about the Dallas Mavericks who got blown out by the Lakers supposedly, but they didn't.  For with the Lakers having three of the top 10 free agents of this summer, it took a lot of dedication and huffing and puffing from Kobe and crew to get that win...

While the Lakers walked away with a road win that the needed, what their bigger purpose was was to break the Mavericks...  as the Mavericks start a December on the road...  , the hotel rooms can be a source of drama and discontent...

But one player who I think is one of the most important pieces on that team, Sgt. Benard James, got a pass and ended with a smooth dunk... in transition, not to show off, it was just in rhythm and this being down 30 points, with about 2 minutes to go in the game.

It wasn't the play, it was how he went about it, that although the Lakers will never say it, the league will never say, the commissioner in David Stern who is robbing the league by preappointing another version of him will never say it... But that play spoke of the team and the play spoke volumes.......

For in the midst of the storm, Mayo, Marion, and the rest of the crew......

Never panicked, they never started cursing or fussing or wilding out.....

The coach never flipped out, even Mark Cuban had the good sense to just shut the f*** up which is hard for him........

There was calm in the storm...........

For where there is faith, there can be no fear..........

Not a damn drop........

That was the Mantra of the Mavericks God told me to say two years ago, and nothing has changed now.

The storm is coming....... in this road trip and I hope that calm can stay......

Same for the Cowboys...

I told God that Rubio is nothing but another Obama, a ambitious senator who ain't bent on doing his job for his state, ain't concerned about adhering to the principles of the tea party that elected him and that he is racist....... b/c to advocate bypassing criminal activity based on race is wrong.... that I could not stand with that.

So mysteriously, after Rubio's trip to Iowa and a constant 72 hour twitter fest about it from myself and others.... Rubio has disappeared from the headlines...

Now it is Jeb Bush....... so it's kind of feeling like please Tiffani, don't really run......

But the problem With George W. Bush, George P. Bush and Jeb Bush is that they are racists as well b/c all advocate amnesty in states that kill American citizens without a problem...

You would think that the GOP would welcome a black woman running, I don't have any money... I don't have the inroads that other candidates do...

But I do have the people........

So in the midst of the storm that is coming because the mighty mighty GOP nor democratic party as I pose a threat to both, will let me make it without all of my dirty business, every mug shot I have ever had, every bad decision I have ever made coming to light.....

I sit in the storm and I fear not, GOP.....

I fear not...... Democratic Party........

I am going to have that Sgt. James calm for he has been in the midst of battle...

I am going to have that faith that Jesus asked of his disciples.....

In other words..

Gotta take this chance X6
