Time (Chapter 5)

Hello America,

I saw the game, actually both games the other day.....

I want to first say I apologize Boris Diaw for getting your name wrong.... and thank you for showing what teamwork means...

From the first pass you threw, I knew God's words were not in vain, as a woman that loves and cherishes the fact that God created men.....

Thank you... that validated me in trusting God a little further, I can't thank you enough...

Thank you for being there for your brothers....

I would like to say thank you to Dwayne Wade....

In the midst of adversity, I saw a player that I have admired for a long time for having something Skip Bayless and ESPN's countless list of experts that have never played the game never understand...

heart....

When you could have given up, you didn't.  Still found a way to make some difficult shots, just when you not 7 feed like Dirk, they not as pretty ;)

I would like to say thank you Tuuska Rask...  As I'm learning hockey, it's hard to maintain an eye on that puck, folks flying everywhere, that puck is not that big and it moves fast, man...  but you kept your eye on the ball...

I would like to finally say thank you like to to Quenneville of the Blackhawks of being man enough to give the other side due when they earned it while recognizing the points your team stepped up....  Something even our great "King" in Lebron can learn from...  you can't lead until you learn to give other teams, and other players that you deemed not worth a crap aka Danny Green the respect they earned... not was given to them.

Each one of you guys and your teams... made me proud...

Each one of you provided the small still voice that will be needed to win a game in the next two days....

Mr. Diaw showed us point #1 - it's the simple things, knowing where your teammate is, those simple crisp passes, that defensive posture, that may not show up on the stat sheet, but everyone on the court and one the side lines recognizes...   The game of hockey and basketball is very, very simple, we complicate with plays, and this and that, but when you can get the simple things right...

even in life.. those small simple things, our small still voice tells us.....

get this first step right, then the next

So much can get accomplished.

Mr. Wade showed us point #2- keep trying...  no matter what the score is, no matter what bs legacy is at stake, no matter what home records teams have or what, until they drag your ass of the court, off the ice.... You keep going...  it doesn't matter....

even in life, that small still voice tells us

keep going, keep trying....

so much can get accomplished.

Mr. Rask showed us that at all times, we have to maintain our eye on the ball or puck.  Not literally I know you have to run plays, you get knocked up against the glass, or as a screen or tumble can move you in a different directions... But my point is AWARENESS.   know what's going on, Ray Allen helped teach us what happens when you don't... Be ready to run, skate whatever and be part of a play, because if you are aware, you NEVER OUT OF THE PLAY....  keep our eye on the prize

even in life, that small still voice tells us

remain aware....

so much can get accomplished.

Mr. Quenneville taught us the most important lesson of today....  Respecting our opponents in victory and in loss.  When we don't respect our opponents, we have a tendency to not pay attention, to think that our mistakes caused victory versus the efforts of those we face.. Mr. Quenneville's lessons encompasses everything these other 3 men have shown us works...  Because victory and losses are already determined before the game is ever played....

When men and women determine before ever playing the game, who should win and who shouldn't in the greatest country of all time started by a few men telling the world's greatest empire,

I ain't paying shit.... I got my family to take care of ;)

even in life, that small still voice tells us,

respect that man or woman and look at that team, player person honestly.....

so much can get accomplished....

The bench for the spurs was there, and bruins to an extent, the blackhawks lost a key player and bench came up short as well as Miami...

But the team that will win and create legacies through victories is the one the other team can hear from the their locker room, can feel the energy melt the ice, and warp the court, can see in every pass, every body shot, every power play, every screen......

that says simply in a loud still voice....

The playoff is a long ass journey
But my brother you ain't alone
They focus on stars only and that I can't condone
Brother I know you mighty tired
But Leader know I'm right here
to go in battle for victory with you and we will not fear
I need trust from You

Whatever my role is I'll proudly play
We'll share in pleasure and pain
Cuz Victory is worth taking
So we cannot be shaken
This is about more than a ring
This is shows what makes us men
No one's efforts will be foresaken
This bench ain't for breakin
Oooh oooh oh
Oooh oooh oh
Oooh oooh oh
No we won't be shaken

 We've spent a season longing
For a label only champs wear
Our mindsets have finally meshed in
To for my brother I'll be there
For we will always remember
Team is how champ fabric is sewn
We play tonight with no stress
Because we never play alone
We will not be moved oh

We going to play our way
Our doubts tonight we will slay
Victory is worth taking

We won't be shaken
This is about more than just a ring
This shows what makes us men
No one's efforts will be forsaken
We ain't about no breakin

  I need trust from You
Brother, I'll pull you through
This is how we do
And we won't be shaken [X3]

We won't be shakenWe going to play our way
Our doubts tonight we will slay
Victory is worth taking

We won't be shaken
This is about more than just a ring
This shows what makes us men
No one's efforts will be forsaken
We ain't about no breakin

oh Oooh oooh oh Oooh oooh oh
Oooh oooh oh
No we won't be shaken
Oooh oooh oh
Oooh oooh oh
Oooh oooh oh
No we won't be shaken

We won't be shaken (New 2013 version Manny's Roar)
Written by Tiffani E. Mims  (ASCAP Licensed)

My point in the next two days, they say legacies will be written by who wins and who loses,

that's a lie...

It will be defined by how each man plays, and how each one of those small still voices that comes from their loins turns into a roar that is seen, felt and heard by their opponents to those who watch the games...

The team that will the games in the next two days...  Will have the four points down, will have a mindset where one player is not distinguishable from the other because each man that bears that jersey is on the same page as the other...

The team that cannot be shaken.... from the time they leave the locker room until the ice melts, until the court warps....

will win...

It's just that simple.

Thank you Pop, for showing the nation, what pride means....

Thank you Manny for showing being able to start in the only city that has your name on it's jersey still means something....

Have a good wonderful game... I love each and every one of you...

Thank you for giving me courage to not shake on my path...
